Secure Packaging

We package our records very carefully. A new inner sleeve and a clear outer plastic sleeve are provided with every record. Unless a record is new and sealed we always separate the record from the sleeve. If you are buying a sealed record and would prefer that we open it and remove it from the sleeve for shipping please let us know. We use Lil CLP Bukwrap mailers LPs and F-EP mailers for 45s. For larger orders we use a variety of appropriately sized mailers taking care to protect corners and edges and always using stiffeners or bubblewrap. All this ensures your records reach you safely.

Import Taxes

Please note that import taxes will apply to orders that you place for delivery outside of the UK. The qualifying values and rates will vary for each country, and be applied to goods and the shipping fee, so please check with your local Customs team for more information. You as the purchaser hold full responsibility for ensuring that your import tax is paid and not Car Boot Soul. Car Boot Soul will also not take responsibility for any additional costs you incur by importing these goods. If you are unable to pay your import fee, or refuse to, and the goods are returned to Car Boot Soul, we will reserve the right to deduct the cost of the original and return shipping fees, along with any costs incurred on recovering the goods, from your final refund or credit.

Returns

We do our very best to deliver quality products. However, we do occasionally get it wrong. Please contact us if you wish to return an item to us.

You have 14 days from the day you receive the item to return it.

In the case of incorrect grading, listing or if the product is defective, we will cover the return shipping and a full refund of the item price and original shipping costs. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label in PDF format for the return shipping, and process the full refund once we receive the item.

If the item was correctly listed, but you want to return it for some other reason, you can return it to us with no questions or hassle. But in this case we do ask that you pay for the return shipping. On receipt of the item back in the same condition as we sent it, we will refund you for the cost of the item.

Items bought from the Car Boot Sale catalogue cannot be returned as they are typically low value, discounted items.
